How to install BBC iPlayer on Playstation 3 / 4

In order to install BBC iPlayer on your PS3 / PS4 you will need a free PSN account for that UK region. The process is very simple and only takes a few minutes:

• Go to https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com
• Enter an email of your choosing *****@binkmail.com
• Fill out the info and selected United Kingom and England respectively
• Click Create My Account
• On the next page fill out any address. Use London as the state and enter N5W 6G4 as the Postcode
• The next page will ask if you want to enter a credit card, select No
• Create an Online ID, it doesn't really matter just as long as it's somewhat memorable
• The last page will ask you to verify your email. Navigate to www.mailinator.com and enter the email you entered previously in the box on the top right of the page
• Select the email received from PSN, and within that email click the Activate Account button.
  
  

That's it! All you have to do now is sign into your newly created account on your Playstation, and you will now be able to download BBC iPlayer. Once the app is installed, you can switch the your regular PSN account, and the BBC iPlayer app will still be available in your list of apps.
